What's this site all about?
PocketGamer.org is a site dedicated exclusively to the world of gaming on Pocket PC's, offering regular news updates, game reviews and extensive games listings at Pocket PC Games.NET, a discussion forum and much, much more besides!
Please remember that this site is only a hobby, not a profit-making venture (I'm not about to retire off the revenues from the adverts, believe me!), so please forgive any horrible errors, broken links, dodgy grammar, etc. I would love to hear what you think of PocketGamer.org, so please take a couple of moments to visit the site feedback page. No need to worry - you don't actually have to give any written opinions, although that option is available should you feel suitably inspired.
Obligatory "Who am I?" section:
(The following paragraphs have been certified as a 100% effective cure against insomnia)
I'm 22 and am studying for a Masters degree in French translation at the University of St. Andrews (yes, where they play all the golf!) in Scotland, although my home address is Croydon, just south of London. Before that, I studied French, Linguistics and Computer Science at Queen Mary & Westfield College, which is part of the University of London. As part of my course, I spent a year in the French town of Tours, which was a fantastic experience.
My major interests include football (otherwise known as "The Best Sport on the Planet" or "soccer"), tennis, badminton, squash and, come to think of it, most other sports. My ideal home would be located next to (or preferably in the middle of) a park!
Aside from that, I have been known to read the occasional book (especially if that book happens to be a science-fiction novel by Arthur C. Clarke) and watch the occasional film. I'm also a sucker for gadgets and portable computers, but then you probably already guessed that.
