E3: Electronic Entertainment Expo
[ Introduction, Day 1 - ZIO Interactive, Day 1 - Ludigames, Days 2 & 3 ]
It's E3 time! For those that haven't heard of it, E3 is an annual trade event where the major players of the entertainment industry get together and show off their wares. As the Show Highlights page states, this show "is the one event that addresses all the business needs of the video and computer game industry."
Being a trade event, E3 is not open to the general public. Not to worry, however, for PocketGamer.org has a couple of well-placed contacts who will be reporting back from the show floor. These reputable people are all round gaming guru, Frank M. Jr (also known as 999), and official site reviewer, Jason Surguine, whom ZIO Interactive were kind enough to send a ticket. Both are armed with cameras and will hopefully be sending some choice photos, along with any interesting information that they can uncover, over the next few days.
Of course, this being a Pocket PC site, the main focus of interest will be Pocket PC games. Notably, we hope to be able bring you images and/or information on ZIO Interactive's recently-announced titles, SimCity 2000, Need For Speed and Ultima Underworld. But you can expect to see plenty of other cool stuff, too!
